Small daily games about the world.

Terrago makes two short geography puzzles every day. Everyone gets the same ones, each takes a few minutes, and they work on any phone or laptop. No app, no sign-up.

The games

Capitalo

Find the hidden capital city in six turns.

  1. Each turn, choose: guess a capital, or take a clue.
  2. A guess tells you how far you are from the answer, which direction to head, and how close you are as a percentage.
  3. Clues unlock in order: continent, population, number of land neighbours, the shape of the capital's name, then the country.
  4. Your last turn has to be a guess. The fewer turns you use, the better.

Polygo

Name the country from its outline.

  1. The outline starts as just 2 edges: a single line showing how long the country is and which way it lies.
  2. Every wrong guess doubles the detail: 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, then 128 edges.
  3. There are no other hints. The shape is the only clue.
  4. You have seven guesses. Solve it with as few edges as you can.

How it works

Who makes it

Terrago was made by Henry Jagger. More puzzles are on the way, starting with Compass: head due east from a capital and name the first one you reach.
